Your responsibilities
Provide support to the Head of Finance Service Integration in delivering finance business partner service into the relevant business areas.
Providing rounded opinions and clear recommendations to challenge and influence all key operational and strategic decisions for areas of direct responsibility.
Providing judgement and sign-off for Budget, Quarterly Rolling Forecast and Mid-term Plan submissions for area of responsibility.
Providing financial support to the overall NWE Development Investment process. Monitor and review all investments at pre approval stage and post implementation, to provide financial clarity in the decision-making process and post investment review to accurately track cost and benefit performance.
Support for Ad-Hoc Central projects and programs across UK Delivery
Provision of relevant KPI information to the business, and relevant analysis linked to financial metrics
Identify and manage all financial risks and associated mitigation actions to the Head of Finance and operational contact points in a timely manner
Indirect management and coaching of a team member in the Poland Shared Service Centre
Our requirements
An accountancy qualification (CIMA/ ACCA) with extensive post-qualification experience (expected to be 4 + years) ideally spanning a variety of different finance roles
Clear understanding of the NWE Delivery strategic priorities with willingness and commercial aptitude to develop knowledge of specific ECS and Portfolio business drivers
A strong understanding of how a Delivery Organization works especially in relation to the relationship between Gross Costs and Trading
Good communication and influencing / impact skills – be able to demonstrate ability and confidence to support and challenge operational leads
A strong working knowledge of Fujitsu financial systems and processes
