In this position you are responsible for definition & deployment of all strategies and international Project Procurement tasks in the Category Facility Services and Facility Management in the region of Europe. This covers demands for infrastructural FM (e.g. cleaning, reception & security services, gardening, catering, furniture, moving) and technical FM (e.g. building, HVAC, MEP, sanitary maintenance).
You are accountable for contract handling and negotiation for the full category spend against the overall target to maximize the Procurement value contribution (e.g. project timeline, return on investment, cost development, supply security, improved services, innovation) leveraging the full range of options available in the market.
In your Procurement role within European projects including several infrastructure locations, you are responsible for compliance with Procurement standards, methods and processes, stakeholder management and sustainable interface towards demand owner and Procurement community.
Together with the CAPEX & Facilities team, you are a reliable expert to share Procurement and category know-how within and beyond your international area.
In addition to this you drive supplier relationship management within your category, innovative solutions and are eager to contribute to the further development of Procurement.
Bachelor or Master's Degree in Business Administration / Facility Management / Engineering / Construction
Several years of proven track record in Procurement with strategic and category management challenges to structure and optimize high volume investments with project character
Facility Management & Services experience and know how in developing procurement strategies for German and/or European Region requested. Consulting Background could also be a qualification and starting point to develop into this role
Relevant professional experience and knowledge in technical Facility Management, infrastructural Facility Services with sufficient technical understanding required
Functional leadership and project management experience advantageous
Very good knowledge of MS Office, SAP, e-tendering, S2C-/ P2P-processes
Fluent English mandatory, fluent German required. Spanish as additional skills welcomed
High communicative competence and cooperation skills, also at international level
Confident appearance and persuasive power
Analytical skills and target-oriented working methods
