Your responsibilities

  • Ownership of relationships with LSPs for sea, air and road transportation serving business of KN's customers

  • Ensuring that LSPs are properly on-boarded into agreed operational process between KN and customer including connectivity between LSP and KN informational systems for transport instruction and shipment status provision.

  • Securing adherence of LSPs to agreed standard operational processes and LSP operational performance in line with the agreed KPI targets (e.g. on time pick-up, on time delivery, transit time adherence, allocation adherence etc.)

  • Leading monthly / quarterly / annual business reviews with LSPs with focus on action plans on operational performance improvement, as well as on pro-active business contingency plans availability

  • Value creation for customer based on transport market knowledge / expertise / experience, as well as through efficient management of / collaboration with LSPs.

  • Supporting digital agenda with LSPs in terms of automation of operational process and real-time availability of shipment status information, data quality resolution with LSPs.

  • Conducting transportation (forwarding) services RFQs on behalf of KN's customer.

Our requirements

  • Higher education in forwarding / logistics / transport operations

  • Education or proven track record of project / change management would be considered as an advantage

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in operations in a forwarding company in an international environment

  • Experience in supply chain optimization and operational performance improvement is a must.

  • Proven experience in risk management and emergency handling.

  • Excellent level of communication in English, both verbal and written.

  • Stress resistance and ability to work under pressure

  • Strong team player capability to support efficient interaction on a horizontal level KN internally, with customer and LSPs.

Your Role

You will be a member of KN Integrated Logistics Team (KN business unit that provides 4PL services to KN's customers). You will be responsible for LSPs management, ensuring LSPs compliance to agreed operational processes and LSPs operational excellence.
