The Global Markets BC&E (Brokerage, Clearing and Exchange) Efficiency and Reporting Team is looking for a Reporting Analyst to join the team in Wroclaw, Poland.

The purpose of the role is to provide high quality analysis, reporting and control across the banks transaction costs. The role requires a detail orientated approach with a focus on data analysis, month end control, reporting and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels.

Key deliverables are:

  • Month end review and control of BCE expenses
  • Reporting of BC&E costs across multiple Front Office business areas
  • Liaison with Front Office COO's and support of on-going analysis / cost management efforts with key clients
  • Work collaboratively with other BC&E teams in order to ensure adequate flow of information and relationship building
  • Assist with project related tasks/requests from Senior Management
  • Develop subject matter expertise in order to provide in-depth analysis / reporting to justify balances and support clients
  • Research variances and ensure data integrity
  • Process development, re-engineering as required

You Offer

  • 1 - 2 years’ experience in financial accounting and/or controlling
  • Detailed understanding of accounting concepts (accruals, pre-payments, balance sheet, etc)
  • Exceptional MS Excel skills and MS Office applications. Hyperion Essbase, Business Objects, MS Access would be a plus
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in English
  • Great teammate with ability to meet tight deadlines through prioritization and planning. Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
  • Structured analytical approach and organizational skills
  • High level of numeracy and attention to detail, analytical skills and ability to quickly recognize anomalies and control issues
