Your responsibilities
translation of business questions into quantitative analyses
opportunity to pursue your own ideas and approaches independently using huge amounts of data from different data sources (e.g., customer/assortment/shopping/store data) - supported by an experienced Data Science team
creation and development and project responsibility for complex statistical data and forecasting models, support of various departments with ad-hoc analyses concerning Controlling KPIs
structuring, preparation, and visualization of business analyses as well as deriving recommendations for the management
training and consulting of the international controlling departments in the fields of Data Analysis and Statistics.
Our requirements
higher university degree with a quantitative focus (e.g., Data Science, Business Analytics/Mathematics, Business Administration, …)
good programming skills in SQL and R or Python (preferably with first practical/business experience),
knowledge in Statistics, Data Mining and Predictive Analytics and first experience in applying common frameworks like pandas, statsmodels, scikit-learn, matplotlib/seaborn or equivalents in R
fluent english language skills are required, german is a plus, ability to work independently and to communicate with and present to technical and non-technical audience
first experience with the Azure Cloud and Databricks is a plus.
