Export Area Manager

In this role you will:

Ensure the sales activities and business development for a specific assigned countries, markets or customers, mainly operating through management of importers and distributors. You will establish all-level significant relationships with distributors, decision makers, partners, customers in the area under responsibility.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Management and developing assigned area and the existing customer portfolio
  • Achieve targets in terms of volumes, revenues, profitability and credit collection for markets and customers under responsibility.
  • Act as main commercial point of contact between the distributors/importers/customers   and the company
  • Cross-sell and upsell the whole PLI portfolio to customers
  • Act as internal point of contact for all the activities related to area under responsibility
  • Monitor and apply marketing guidelines to the markets under responsibility in cooperation with marketing department
  • Provide suitable sales forecast using company tools
  • Travel to European/overseas destinations to ensure and strengthen relationships with the customers (40% of time)
  • To develop and maximize sales within the area under responsibility
  • To find, explore and acquire new business opportunities and customers


  • Graduated in Economy, International Business or Engineering.
  • Three to five years of work experience in international sales preferably in the automotive sector and/or in dealing with importers/distributors
  • Fluent knowledge of Polish and English is mandatory, Italian or other foreign languages – nice to have
  • Able to negotiate with customers of different nationalities and cultures
  • Problem solving skill, high motivation and flexibility
