    Factoring Relationship Manager

    Responsibilities:

    Management and development of a portfolio of commercial factoring clients to increase contribution towards annual operating plan. This is achieved by:

    • Ensuring a regular, proactive, planned and effective contact strategy is in place for each factoring client
    • Having a detailed understanding of the client base in order to identify and respond to present and future needs, delivering a client experience with which the client would rate themselves “very satisfied”
    • Growing portfolio income by winning new referrals from existing satisfied clients
    • Working effectively with other bank colleagues to ensure a joined up, customer-centred approach
    • Broadening and deepening relationships with clients and prospective clients
    • Maintaining a balanced approach to risk management, ensuring early identification and preventative action to minimise loss to the Group
    • Embracing and living HSBC brand values at all times, externally and internally
    • Maintaining HSBC internal control standards


    Requirements:

    • University Degree in Economics / Finance
    • Knowledge of factoring products, processes, service delivery and risk issues
    • Good knowledge of the Factoring Market, key dynamics and competitors
    • Proven ability in relationship management in factoring or the commercial banking sector operating in a credit & risk environment
    • Proven ability in customer driven and credit management environment
    • Excellent communication skills deployed confidently, both in writing, verbally and importantly through ‘active listening’
    • Well developed interpersonal skills and the ability to demonstrate entrepreneurial empathy
    • Good negotiation and selling skills gained in a external client environment
    • Ability to deliver creative and flexible solutions and being able to convey tangible value
    • Fluent Polish, very good English skills (spoken & writing)
