About the project

As FOT Leader (Project Manager) you will ensure efficient E2E planning and execution of features, cooperating closely with PM/PO community & technical staff.

Your responsibilities

  • leads the execution of a FOT through it phases against agreed program targets

  • leads E2E feature development and delivery across all virtual teams contributing to the FOT

  • facilitates splitting of feature plan to team backlogs with FOT members and product owners, ensuring commitments to the feature delivery plan

  • aligns development plans across all impacted areas

  • checks and manages interfaces and dependencies to other features and FOTs

  • represents FOT and makes commitments towards Program on behalf of FOT

  • single point of contact towards Program Management

  • creates new FOT or assigns feature to existing FOT

  • ensures proper FOT resourcing with FOT Members through Product Owners of contributing development units

  • conflict resolution and escalation to R&D management in case of resource issues

  • facilitates FOT meetings

  • ensures FOT follows all needed processes

  • risk management for the feature

  • prepare risk mitigation and recovery plans

  • fosters evolution of the FOT WoW towards self-organizing team​

  • driving continuous FOT way of working improvement e.g. via FOT retrospectives and RCA/EDA

  • documents FOT improvements

Our requirements

  • experience in IT project management, including management of several projects in parallel

  • experience in Software Development or Testing is a plus

  • strong interpersonal skills and experience in a multicultural and cross functional team environment

  • abillity to perform well in challenging situations and under high pressure

  • balance of technical knowledge and business acumen

  • fluent English, both spoken and written
