Your responsibilities

  • Building highly technical and custom templates in Microsoft Excel / Refinitiv applications based on client’s requests

  • Planning, preparing and performing migrations projects for huge, well known financial institutions (mainly work with customer’s financial models and charts, data conversion)

  • Cooperating with sales teams to provide new revenue opportunities and to support the retention of current clients (by building client-customised solutions using our products and indicating competitive advantage over competitors’ products)

  • Working on data presentations, analyses presentations, and functionality inquiries

  • Providing creative solutions and a high level of service through telephone, e-mail and chat

Our requirements

  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken), able to use English as a working language with internal teams and customers

  • Bachelor’s degree in Corporate Finance or Accountancy will be a strong asset.

  • Recognized external qualifications such as CFA (at least level I), ICMA, CAIA, FINRA or FSA are preferred

  • Knowledge of M&A, Equity and Debt Markets gained in a previous job or during degree studies

  • Solid foundation in corporate accounting and in the three financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement) and how they are used for valuation

  • Advanced experience in using Microsoft Excel, including building complex models for Mergers and Acquisitions clients such as Comparable Analysis, DCF, LBO, accretion/dilution

  • Attention to details and ability to work with data

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written), as well as critical reasoning skills in order to identify problems and provide solutions quickly

  • An ability to effectively work within a team and to collaborate is required. Comfortable with presentations and web conferencing (such as Webex and MS Teams)

We are seeking to recruit a Product Specialist to join the Global Business Consulting team. (GBC)

The team provides product and technical expertise to resolve complex questions for Investment Banking and Sell-Side Research clients who use our main Refinitiv products.

Support is done over the phone, chat, email and client meetings (remote).

You will work collaboratively with a team of approximately 15 colleagues in EMEA and 60+ globally.

Our customers rely on our expertise to take their business decisions every day. You will work with highly qualified colleagues and on a regular basis with Account Managers and Sales specialists in different locations.
