Finance and Accounting Specialist

Your responsibilities

  • Participating in general accounting operation, ensuring their smooth and timely execution

  • Completing, organizing and describing accounting documentation in accordance with the guidelines

  • Preliminary analysis of accounting documents in terms of formal and content

  • Assistance in checking invoices, resolving discrepancies and clarifying open items, including support in contact with contractors

  • Entering transfers into the banking system and ensuring timely payments

  • Issuing sales invoices and prepare monthly cash reports

  • Being first point of contact in topics related to accountancy, invoices, travel expenses, employee expenses reimbursements etc. to the employees, counterparties, authorities

  • Assist with daily, monthly, and yearly accounting activities including financial reports, developing budgets, preparing taxes

  • Assisting in accounting projects e.g. SAP implementation, set up new processes and policies etc.

  • Close cooperation with external accountancy, auditors and central finance and accounting departments

  • Entering data into registers, keeping relevant records and ensure they are up to date

  • Assisting in conducting and updating inventory of assets and equipment

  • Office work: copying, scanning, archiving, document editing etc.

  • Providing other administrative and accounting support and supporting additional projects whenever necessary

  • Replacing the Senior Finance and Accounting Specialist in her/his absence

  • Keeping up with current accounting regulations and company policies and procedures in accounting and finance area.

Our requirements

  • At least 3- years’ experience as an Finance and Accounting Specialist or in related field and practical knowledge of accounting and administration processes

  • Graduate degree or equivalent in relevant discipline

  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Understanding of accounting principles and current financial legislation.

  • Exceptional time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong math and research skills.

  • Ability to accurately and efficiently analyze data, detail-oriented.

  • Open to changes and work in a rapidly changing work environment

  • Excellent computer skills, including a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
