Your responsibilities
- Responsibility for the accounting of Polish Company (sp. z o. o.) from A to Z
- Leading a small team
- Responsibility for a smooth and timely monthly, quarterly, year-end closure process
- Taking care of accurate Transfer Pricing
- Lead of general ledger, vendor, customer, assets
- Execute adhoc reporting for management, ensure that reporting is comprehensive and precise
- Support document management in the ERP System
- Providing local statistics and run of IC reconciliation
- Contact partner for auditor, bank, insurance and so on
- Responsible for the Forecast/Budget process and the whole financial group reporting
- Monthly VAT declaration
Our requirements
- Knowledge of Accounting principles
- Previous work experience as an Accountant or in similar roles
- Degree qualified (Finance, Accounting or similar)
- Fluent in English
- Experience with ERP systems
- Computer literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Office and use of MS Excel
- Ability to work independently, solve problems and manage information
- Travel ability up to 20% during the training period
Optional
- Work experience in an international corporation with matrix structures
- Experience with reorganization of finance / accounting function
- Leadership ambition
- German language skills
- Experience with Implementation of ERP-systems
- Experience with HFM
- MS Navision knowledge

Our DS Smith Recycling office in Kielce is currently seeking a Finance Business Partner (m/f/d) for our growing Recycling Business in Poland.
We are small yet independent unit in Poland (Kielce) closely connected with the Regional Headquarters in Germany.

As a Finance Business Partner (m/f/d) you will become part of a small local and wider international team, work with external partners, the head office for Central Europe in Germany and demonstrate your ability to build strong relationships.
This role plays a key role in establishing and maintaining the Business's financial principles, practices, procedures, and initiatives in the region. It is a hands-on role with a diverse remit to impact a dynamic business.
Besides financial daywork you’ll be implementing continuous improvements and support projects.
