Your responsibilities

  • Ensure that all Transfer Pricing (TP) Policies of the ArcelorMittal group are well understood and correctly implemented by the concerned business units and segments.

  • Manage the end-to-end operational TP process, including the monitoring of the implementation of the various TP polices, performing or instructing on year-end adjustments and support the preparation of TP documentation.

  • Assist with the implementation and operate IT tools and databases for the operational TP process.

  • Perform quantitative analyses for TP upon management request.

  • Transform TP policies into written instructions and calculation methods ready for the business units to implement.

  • Obtain all necessary data from business units, perform quantitative analyses, and provide the outcome to business unit or tax teams.

  • Drive the implementation and manage the IT tools for TP, update and ensure integrity of the TP database, design and prepare reports.

  • The calculation of target or budget transfer prices, the preparation of forecast and budgets.

  • The comparison of target/budget versus actual prices.

  • The analysis of the deviation and calculation of corrective adjustments.

  • Develop and implement instructions for accounting and reporting purposes for complex TP polices (e.g. Industrial Franchising) - in alignment with business units, segments and the group GAPM.

  • Serve as the main connecting point in relation to all business units, segments and the Group TP office about the practical implementation of TP polices. Provide explanations and trainings to business units and segments.

  • Provide to the TP compliance center all necessary reports and calculations and review the economic analysis included in the TP documentation reports as prepared by the TP compliance center.

  • Support the Group TP Office and local tax teams upon request.

  • Permanently review and provide suggestions for improvement of the collection, processing, sharing and storage of operational TP data.

  • Update the Industrial Franchise manual.

  • Identify and obtain relevant data (business KPIs) and perform calculations for benefit tests.

Our requirements

  • Degree in financial management or controlling.

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in a finance or controlling department in a complex, international business environment.

  • Experience in TP would be an asset.

  • Willing to learn and to get a deep understanding of ArcelorMittal’s global business activities very fast.

  • Profound knowledge in financial analysis and controlling methods.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Good understanding and proven track of ability to operate in data intensive processes.

  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a must, any experience in applications like BPM, SAP BW, MS SQL server, multidimensional data bases (cubes) etc. is an asset.

  • Rigorous and structured, at the same time being able to deal with difficult and conflicting situations.

  • Effective communication skills, both oral and in written.

  • Very good level of English, both oral and in written.

  • Self-starter, excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Demonstrate professionalism through a positive and cooperative attitude.

  • Ability to work both in team and individually.
