They are seeking to recruit an experienced, people & business-oriented finance individual that will act as a business partner by providing professional finance advisory. The person on the Finance Director position will successfully support the process of upscaling the business. Finance Business Partner will work close to/with the board/shareholders with a high involvement on strategic matters and give solid fundament for continuous growth. This role will lead four different teams (finance, legal, IT, Fleet) and be a part of the local Senior Management Team.

Client Details

Our Client is an international rapidly growing TSL company. To strengthen their senior management team, they are currently looking for experienced professional for the position of Finance Director (Poland). As the company significantly grew during the recent years, the complexity of processes is and will be now much higher, and a need to boost a professional Finance functions in the organization became one of priorities for the Group level Board/shareholders. The company is located next to Poznań.

Description

  • Review all the current processes and policies to identify and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Partner with senior leaders to improve on current processes and initiatives, and where needed, develop, and implement new programs and initiatives directly aligned to business strategy
  • Contribute to and monitor the strategic growth direction of the company (+20% every 6 months)
  • Work on financial feasibility studies for new services and projects by thorough assessment of profitability, funding requirements and risks
  • Ensure timely production of weekly, period, quarterly, annual close activities according to the local principles and company policies
  • Ensure the timely production of consolidated financial information to group level including business analysis package
  • Manage the group consolidation (three different European countries, five entities) and align management reporting for local use
  • Cooperate with Shareholders in tax matters related to transfer pricing
  • Improve budgeting and forecasting process and systems by implementing corporate performance management solutions
  • Provide extensive business support to local and group management so that business decisions can be taken effectively
  • Cooperate with banks and financial institutions in Poland and abroad to optimize financing (line of credits, leasing etc.)
  • Work together with our in-house lawyer and take responsibility for all legal matters and keep corporate household up to date
  • Develop IT goals, and metrics and adjust IT standards and technologies to meet organizational and financial objectives
  • Define and execute a technology roadmap that enables a more connected, responsive, and customer focused organization from the people, process and technology approach
  • Management and leadership of diverse teams

Profile

  • University degree(s) with a strong focus on mastering Accounting / Finance
  • Expected 10 years plus of experience in managerial position, work and life experiences in a multi-national environment, preferably in low margin/high volume business
  • Excellent analytical way of thinking and fluency in analytical tools
  • Result orientated, proactive personality
  • Strong personality with eye for people first
  • Ability to work under pressures with deadlines
  • Fluent English is required
  • Proven track record in the implementation and upkeeping of corporate performance management systems
  • Well acquainted with Polish accounting standards, company laws, taxation
  • Mature, motivated, independent with strong technical knowledge, solid experience in HR, robust work ethic, and great interpersonal skills
  • A profound experience in managing managers
  • Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings with strong cross functional, participative management style focused on genuine people leadership
  • High energy, hands-on, and eye for details while keeping a strategic perspective
  • Understands lifelong learning & development
