Your responsibilities

  • Operates the financial systems & processes per policy, and as advised by the Finance department at HQ

  • Oversees all the EU banking activities, has access to process and approve payments. Assists HQ in the reconciling of the bank accounts.

  • Assures complete compliances with all VAT laws

  • Prepares monthly sales reports for VAT reporting for all European VAT zones. Supervises the timely and accurate VAT filling for all zones.

  • Confirms VAT rates of all SKUs on sale in iStruct and for products in development

  • Co-operates with external, local accountants on a daily basis. Supervises the preparation of Polish financial statements. Coordinates the preparation of income tax returns with outside accountants.

  • Co-operates with Corporate Controller at HQ for the accounting of the Polish service entity

  • Supervises KEBV & KESP Finance employees

  • Controls input and processing of vendor invoices into NetSuite, verifies their correctness, and oversees that payments are properly & timely made and entered into NetSuite.

  • Manages customers’ orders to be marked as paid for payments made via bank wires

  • Manages refund requests

  • Prepares and manages employment agreements for staff hired locally by the Polish service entity

  • Oversees the HR function for legal and practical day-to-day HR functions for the Polish service entity

  • Manages contact with law firms for local legal projects. Monitors financial details to ensure legal compliance with Polish laws.

  • Manages local fraud prevention or recovery projects

  • Monitors incoming payment method alternatives, competitive merchant fees, alternative payment methods and proposes optimal payment solutions for the company

  • Tracking of vendor payments or advance payment settlements

  • Monitors and controls the EU subsidiaries inventory process with impacts to financial statements.

  • Participates in the execution of changes to procedures, policies, and systems to facilitate expansion, compliance, and scaling of the business

  • Other tasks as required by the management team

Our requirements

  • BA or BS in economics, finance, accounting, economics, or related field

  • 3-5 years managerial experience
