Recruitment for

Our client is an innovative FMCG company, providing exclusive goods with focus on commercial excellence. Due to intensive development company is looking for experienced Finance Manager.

Your responsibilities

  • Monitor and improve the finance process and monthly closings

  • Improve the process of yearly closing and auditing to adhere to group closing calendar

  • Improve the administrative finance flows within the company

  • Lead the process for weekly payment runs and cash planning

  • Implement internal controls and lead the budget and forecast process

  • Analyse plan versus actuals and propose compensating measures in line with business plans (if required)

  • Prepare business cases, calculate scenario's and perform sensitivity analysis for investments and strategic decision making

  • Improve cost calculation and price setting including discount policy

  • Create awareness for the importance of working capital

  • Screen contracts (rent, leasing, service providers) for financial implications

  • Challenge budget owners, be the sparring partner for the general manager

  • Pro-actively share ideas to improve the profitability of the company

  • Connect with employees at all levels of the organization

  • Point of contact for all financial topics for corporate controller and CFO

Employer requirements

  • Vast experience in a finance position, preferably in an international and/or E-commerce environment

  • Eager to set up and improve finance and admin processes, including internal control and motivated to correct historical issues

  • Experience in leading budget and forecast process, including cash forecast

  • Proven experience in analysing and interpreting data, creating relevant reports and communicate insights to all layers of the organisation

  • Experience with implementation of ERP system

  • Ability to influence management decisions with facts and figures

  • Experience in a working capital driven organisation is a strong asset

  • Experience in product costing and cost allocations is a plus

  • Good understanding of Polish Gaap, Taxes and legal reporting

  • Expert in Excel, experienced user of PowerPoint and Navision (or other ERP systems)

  • Very good oral and written skills of English command

  • Highly accountable and proactive and able to work independently in a dynamic environment

  • Able to understand business needs, showing interest in operations

  • Motivated by the opportunity to further develop the finance & control function, in close connect with the group CFO
