Our Client is an international IT company operating in B2B sector. Due to its further growth in Poland (new acquisition) we are looking for a Candidate to hold the newly created role of Finance Manager.
The Finance Manager plays a pivotal role in an organisation, responsible for overseeing and managing all financial aspects to ensure the company's fiscal health and sustainability. This position requires a strong grasp of financial principles, strategic thinking and effective operational performance.
Your responsibilities
Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop, implement, and manage financial plans, budgets, and forecasts. Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance;
Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements;
Budget Management: Monitor and control budgets, identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement. Collaborate with department heads to align budgets with organizational goals;
Risk Management: Assess and mitigate financial risks by implementing sound risk management practices. Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets;
Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow to meet operational needs and optimize investment opportunities. Maintain banking relationships and oversee cash management activities.
Financial Strategy: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's objectives. Provide financial insights to support decision-making.
Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulations, and financial reporting requirements. Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and filings.
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor finance staff, including external accounting office. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Employer requirements
Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related;
At least 6 to 8 years' experience in finance, preferably in international company from IT sector (experience in B2B company dealing with project management scope/services is a must);
Accounting background, gained in e.g. Big4, accounting office, internal accounting department, knowledge and understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations and tax laws;
Solid experience in controlling, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, reporting and analysis;
Experience in change management, especially process and tools optimization, standardisation and unification, would be highly appreciated;
Experience in team management would be an asset;
Fluency in English (min. B2/C1 level, both oral and writing communication);
Proficiency in financial software and controlling tools, such as ERP systems and MS Excel;
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
Effective communication and presentation abilities;
Strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities.
