Your responsibilities

Job Purpose:

• As Management Team member and reporting to the Director of HGSS, the Finance Manager leads HEINEKEN Krakow’s center Finance and Compliance teams to ensure strategic finance leadership and business partnering with all Towers and Functions of the center

• Accurate and timely reporting of financial activities, maintaining validity and completeness of records for the legal entity HEINEKEN Global Shared Services

• The Finance Manager is responsible to provide business cases and financial views for high quality decision making, effective financial planning, target setting and delivery, internal reporting, analysis, risk and opportunities governance for the center and for our customers

• Involvement and positive influence over activities that are directly linked to HEINEKEN Krakow’s business performance

• The coordination of annual plan, rolling forecasts, strategic plans

• Leading and ensuring Compliance in the legal entity

Your responsibilities would include:

• As a Management Team member, shaping, owning, and executing HEINEKEN Krakow’s strategy

• Ensuring insightful and timely information to our organisation for value driven decisions

• Championing business performance by facilitating target setting, monitoring results, and providing ad-hoc analysis/reports that assist on the identification of insights and sources of performance variance/options for improvement

• Providing (strategic) financial advice and decision support to the Management Team

• Managing and controlling the budgeting cycle

• Being in contact with HEINEKEN’s Global Head Office and Regions for internal finance governance process and requirements

• Being responsible for and controlling financial closes and financial reporting of the local entity HEINEKEN Global Shared Services

• Treasury: Financing and Investments / FX and Bank Relationship Management

• Developing, implementing and maintaining tax strategy and policies for the HGSS

• Taking (functional) ownership of the tax figures in the internal and external reporting by the HGSS

• Assessing the company’s compliance and legal position, and ensuring litigation, if necessary

• Ensuring HGSS has effective arrangements for its internal financial controls and a coherent plan for the management of risk

• Leading Finance and Compliance teams (~10 direct reports)

Our requirements

You have

• 6+ years of professional experience in Finance

• Demonstrated track record in Finance with business control and finance planning & accounting experience

• Excellent stakeholder management, proven ability to engage effectively with stakeholders of different seniority

• Leadership experience of developing, motivating, and managing direct report teams

• Ambition to make impact on HEINEKEN Krakow’s strategy and performance delivery by taking the lead beyond the Finance agenda

Other skills:

• Strong knowledge of financial and operational processes (end to end thinking)

• Knowledge of financial planning, financial accounting, financial regulations, and local GAAP

• Knowledge of Polish tax legislation, system and management information tools is an advantage

• Ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports and business cases

• Proactive attitude in identifying and solving problems/issues

• A drive for continuous professional development in self and others

• Excellent Microsoft Office skills

• CIMA or ACCA certification is an advantage

• Excellent written and verbal English
