An opportunity for Finance Managers willing to work for a small, family owned automotive company with stable future.

Your responsibilities

  • Keeping accounting books in accordance with applicable law and the company's internal rules

  • Preparation of declarations and settlements with the Social Insurance Institution

  • Supervision over the correctness of tax settlements (verification of the correctness of VAT registers and declarations, calculation of advances and annual CIT, PIT declarations)

  • Supervision over the records of economic operations in accordance with the balance sheet and tax law

  • Preparation of the Company's financial statements (monthly, quarterly and annual) and monthly reporting on the Company's results

  • Supervision and control of the correct settlement of accounting documents

  • Preparation of payroll

  • HR and payroll supervision (monitoring of working time, holiday use, settlement of sick leaves, preparation of employment and civil law contracts, control of personal files)

  • Preparation of statistical and other reports required by law (GUS, NBP)

  • Supervision over the correct circulation and accounting of documents

  • Keeping records of fixed assets and intangible assets

  • Preparation of analyses and reports for the company's internal needs

  • Preparation of reports for the group and preparation of KPIs, monitoring of results with the budget,

  • Cooperation with the auditor and other external institutions (Tax Office, Social Insurance Institution, banks, etc.)

  • Participation in the development of internal procedures and regulations

  • Cooperation with other departments in our company

  • Reporting to the Plant Director and Group Finance Controller

Employer requirements

  • Experience in implementation of financial systems - knowledge of polish accounting systems as well as ERP.

  • Experience in building reporting tools

  • Experience in Budgeting

  • Financial liquidity management

  • Experience in the development of internal procedures and regulations not limited to finance department

  • Experience in Team management

  • Experience in production must have

  • Experience in international companies

  • Strong leadership skills and independent decision maker.

  • Strong Business result oriented

  • Must be strong self dependent accountant able to coach and teach the existing team.

  • Deep knowledge of Polish Gaap and Tax law

  • Higher education - finance and accounting

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as the Chief Accountant or fin manager

  • Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)

  • Good command in English
