Finance Processes Architect


Responsible for supporting the development and construction of processes for the Finance organization within CBRE. Combines experience and a critical eye to review and analyze existing processes. Uses an innovative approach to document new processes and to problem solve through existing process challenges, such as bottle-necks. Works with other Architects and Managers as a team, while working with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and to understand the current state. Plays a critical role in gathering data, understanding process sequences, interactions, and roles within any given process or set of sub-processes.


  • Determines the process sequences and interactions of existing processes by working with internal stakeholders/process users to gather requirements to understand the current-state. Maps out current processes, documents procedures/protocols, process flows, approver levels, decision points, and all relevant information. Identifies bottle-necks, pain points, and areas of improvement.
  • Assists in evaluating and proposing process improvements (Waste elimination, Automation, RPA, Centralization near/offshore).
  • Supports Sr Architect and Managers in discussions with primary stakeholders/leaders to document and memorialize context and decisions.
  • Independently conducts follow-up and more in-depth discussions with secondary stakeholders/process users.
  • Documents and memorializes process conversations with internal stakeholders to a high-level of detail.
  • Works with the technical writers to provide detailed descriptions of processes ensuring all necessary changes and updates are captured.
  • Communicates process changes to the process users.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Perfect candidate profile:

Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Finance, IT, or a related field of study with a minimum of 2-4 years’ experience.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE Requires strong knowledge of financial terms, concepts and accounting principles and the ability to comprehend and interpret complex financial transactions.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex financial information and transactions and accounting principles. Ability to problem-solve, both independently and working as a team. Requires strong analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES Microsoft Office suite including Microsoft Visio
