Your responsibilities
About Approval Centre Poland
The business unit Maritime Ship Classification Approval (M-SA) at DNV consists of Approval Centre Poland (ACP) in Gdynia, Approval Centre Germany (ACG) in Hamburg and Approval Centre Norway (ACN) in Høvik. Main competences of the Approval Centres (AC) are approval, verification and certification services for maritime related assets, mainly newbuilding, conversions, alternations and certification of materials and components.
Digital Class Services unit within Approval Centre Poland is responsible for effective the end-to-end process of CO2 reporting verification and Efficiency Existing Ship Index (EEXI) verification.
In your role you will be responsible for:
• support for other accountants/analysts with finance processes
• support with any data entry or ad-hoc analyses
• perform simple accounting transactions
• data analysis and reporting
• support with month-end close process
• gathering data from ERP system and other finance applications
• other tasks as assigned
Our requirements
very good English skills, written and verbal
good knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel
have positive attitude towards learning new skills
attention to detail
to be in process of completing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, business, accounting, economics or other related subject
be available to work from our office located in Gdynia (Łużycka street)
be available to work 30-40 hours per week during summer period (beginning of July - end of September)
