Your responsibilities

  • Manage the daily US GAAP general accounting and the monthly close of US books according to PerkinElmer deadlines

  • Ensure full account reconciliations including inter-company balances.

  • Work proactively on revenue recognition process. Own issues resolution and documentation for the entity

  • Support local business and key SSC stakeholders on understanding results and analysing variances

  • Payments approval

  • Manage relationship with auditors

  • Under the supervision of FA Cluster Supervisor responsible for all the US and local accounting, reporting, process and compliance activities of PerkinElmer Polska sp. z o.o. Take full ownership of all finance related matters of the Polish entity ensuring adherence to corporate guidelines and policies as well as local rules and procedures.

  • Ensure all the accounts are analysed and reconciled within agreed deadlines and document GAAP to GAAP differences

  • Payroll booking based on files provided by an external outsourced company.

  • Prepare the annual Statutory Accounts, including annexes and legal & financial information

  • Be the primary contact of external statutory auditors, banks, tax authorities and other external institutions

  • Preparation of tax declarations (CIT, VAT, VAT-UE, JPK files)

  • Preparation of Intrastat declarations

  • Preparation of reports for the Central Statistical Office (GUS)/ NBP

  • Collaborate to the preparation of the monthly corporate income tax payments (CIT) and year end tax return with the support of external Tax Advisors

  • Monitoring and applying changes in accounting regulations, identifying challenges

Our requirements

  • Fluent in Polish and English (at least CEFR B2 level)

  • BA/MA degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics or equivalent

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in accounting for legal entities

  • Demonstrated experience in month end closing and maintaining a ledger independently will be considered a plus

  • Demonstrated VAT/tax capabilities as well as statutory returns experience in a multinational environment will be considered as a plus

  • Must be professional and ethical with high integrity

  • Sense of urgency, and an absolute commitment in achieving goals

  • Process driven and organized, with sufficient flexibility to accommodate ad hoc requests

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • SAP experience and very good knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • HFM reporting systems experience will be considered as a plus
