Your responsibilities

You will lead a team consisting of 8 direct reports. You will be responsible for supporting Electrolux IT Solutions AB with all accounting and administrative matters.

You as an individual will be:

•Line Manager and operational manager to a team in various locations; liaising a lot with many different GFSS teams like GL, AP, AR, Master Data

•Financial controller for Electrolux IT Solutions AB ensuring the accuracy of its Profit & Loss Statement and Balance Sheet. You will also be the controller for the Strategic IT cost centre in AB Electrolux

•Liaising with Financial Controllers mainly in Europe but also Globally

•Responsible for the period end closing and submission of Group reports, including Annual Plans, quarterly forecast reports

•MA&SA Reporting Unit Co-ordinator, ensuring the completion and submission of ECS Gap Analysis, EWC survey, BMS Template and other ad-hoc audits; as well as updating the Delegation of Authority

•Liaising with Group Accounting on new reporting guidelines and supporting Group Tax with local tax requirements Globally

•Reviewing and approving new vendors, customers, approval routes in SAP, invoices in SAP, GL accounts reconciliations, STI & LTI provisions

In addition to the above, you will be the first point of contact for the Swedish Bureau of Statistics (SCB-Statistiska centralbyrån) for the submission of annual, quarterly and ad-hoc questionnaires/surveys. You will be liaison with the Swedish Tax Authorities on operational and local tax requirements. You may also be involved in new Group or Sector projects or initiatives requiring the team’s involvement.

Our requirements

  • Education: University degree in Business Administration/Accounting/Finance or similar is an advantage

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an Accounting/Auditing/Tax position in an international environment

  • Good knowledge of IT tools (SAP & Excel) and applications

  • Fluent English language

Who are you

You are an open-minded team player with an interest in working with people from different cultures. You have an excellent understanding of accounting matters and have good experience analyzing financial data and creating Journal Vouchers. You have experience of costs and cost types and also revenue and revenue items in the Profit & Loss Statement.

You will be based in Krakow in a modern office setting with colleagues dedicated to central HR, Finance and IT services across Europe.

Electrolux is part way through a global finance transformation journey and has established a Financial Reporting & Analysis center of excellence (hereafter FR&A CoE). The FR&A CoE is a function under build-up and will be responsible for 1) developing the general FR&A process, and 2) providing Business Controlling support for all of Electrolux’s various operations. We are now looking for a Financial Controlling & Accounting Manager to join the FR&A CoE Group Functions team. You will be based in Cracow, Poland and report to the manager CoE Group Functions.
