Implementation and development of statutory and US GAAP reporting processes in the whole group
Implement a reporting process of subsidiaries in order to assure timely consolidation at the Group level
Prepare consolidated financial statements and disclosures for external financial reporting
Manage all intercompany eliminations
Preparing Statutory to US GAAP reconciliation and analysis
Implement a financial statement tie-out process for the financial statement audit
Assist in onboarding and managing a financial reporting tool; collaborate with controlling team to coordinate implementation efforts across functional areas (e.g. management reporting)
Prepare and introduce process of reporting packages, and later on assist with monthly tie-out of the reporting package
Establish active and effective communication with members of the Finance team in the countries
Prepare subsidiary and statutory financial reporting, including investor reporting packages
Relevant educational background within Finance & Accounting or similar faculty (CIMA or ACCA certification would be an asset)
Technical experience related to GAAP and reporting, stock option accounting, acquisitions accounting
Experience in audit and supporting financial controlling operations would be an asset
Big-4 audit experience is a plus
Very good knowledge of English (preferably C1 level)
Proven record of introducing reporting processes in organisation
Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbally
Ability to research and apply accounting guidance through recommendations
Financial systems knowledge and expertise and familiarity with financial business applications; must have strong understanding of ERP systems (Navision is a plus)
Strong Excel/Google sheet skills
Forward thinking and planning ahead is a must
Outside of the box thinking and problem-solving skills
Good analytical, organisational and communication skills with ability to cooperate in a global work environment
An orientation toward process and detail mindedness. Strong analytical and quantitative skills and outstanding accounting skills.
Demonstrated high energy, initiative and creativity - with a proven ability to manage significant initiatives across organizations and across geographies
