For our Finance team in Warsaw we are recruiting a:

Financial Analyst

Position: Full time

This role is primarily responsible for providing financial and analytical support with a focus on different revenue streams, programming, marketing and departmental expenses, maintenance of reporting and forecasting systems and delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for coordinating monthly P&L submissions, providing analysis of monthly movements and variances to forecast
  • Support the Budget, Estimate & LRP processes
  • Oversee department budgets and provide business support
  • Provide assistance in year-end statutory audit
  • Compliance with SOX, Viacom policies & procedures, maintenance of strong internal controls environment
  • Ad hoc projects as required by Head of Finance
  • Provide significant support to the sales, programming and marketing departments, responsible for maintaining the budget and providing various analysis (including ROI’s and committed analysis etc.)
  • Maintain Programming system to ensure accurate Programming amortisation monthly charges, compile relevant information required for setting up assets in SAP system, run quarterly impairment review process

That’s why we want you:

  • Master degree in business economics, finance or accounting, post graduate professional qualification would be an asset
  • At least 3 years of experience in Finance & Control position with a strong element of accounting in an international environment
  • Fluency in English is a must
  • Excellent analytical, process and problem solving skills
  • Strong client focus
  • Ability to work effectively to tight deadlines
  • Proactive, resourceful, organized, detail oriented, focused and flexible
  • Excellent interpersonal, as well as written and verbal communication skills
  • Experienced in working with SAP and proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Longview is an advantage
  • Interest in the media & entertainment industry and good sense of humor highly recommended
