Your responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead the preparation of group reporting package

  • Manage budgeting and forecasting activities

  • Monitor business performance - Key Performance Indicators

  • Provide accurate and timely insight into business performance by analysing any variance of actual results from forecast

  • Ensure the development and execution of appropriate analytical tools and forecasting models

  • Business partnership with country leader and country management team

  • Support for finance director in managing finance activities

  • Partner for accounting team

  • On-site leadership of indirect team members

  • Interface with central and regional finance functions

  • Provide operational support for business functions

  • Initiate efficiency opportunities

  • Support finance director in ad-hoc finance projects

  • Oversee internal controls environment

  • Contribute to financial and internal audit

Our requirements

  • University degree in Business Administration or Finance

  • At least 5 years of broad financial experience within a multinational organization and at least 2 years of experience in a relevant finance position. Prior experience within an audit firm will be considered a strong asset

  • Knowledge of IFRS/ US GAAP is essential

  • Understanding of Polish taxation - corporate income tax, value added tax

  • Experience with design and monitoring of internal controls

  • Proficiency in financial analysis, financial modelling and appraisal of investment projects

  • Experience with the use of information technology to effectively satisfy business needs: Excel, PowerPoint

  • VBA, Power Query and Power BI experience will be an asset

  • Strong mix of technical financial knowledge and business acumen

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in Polish and English

  • Strong organizing, planning and controlling ability

  • Ability to work independently

  • Excellent interpersonal, staff management and team working skills

  • Ability to develop strong relationships with colleagues and negotiate consensus effectively

  • Energetic, highly committed and results-oriented personality

  • Understands key business drivers, seeks out opportunities and recommends solutions that can be effectively supported

  • Pro-active thinking and initiative

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks

  • Effective listening, analytical, presentation and problem solving skills
