Financial Controller

Your responsibilities

  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting (IFRS) in cooperation with the accounting team in GBS (our Global Business Services centre)

  • Validate sales, costs, inventory controls, KPIs, General ledger and subledger

  • Prepare all tax-declarations (as VAT, CIT, WHT) in cooperation with country financial controller, GBS and tax department

  • Prepare and follow-up accounting and other requests in AICO system, check vendor-invoice process in Docsweb system and support GBS in case of questions and issues

  • Coordinate the external audit-process of the Polish company and prepare the Statutory Financial statements

  • Reporting to local authorities as statistic office, national bank, customs etc.

  • Ensure local compliance to local, Group & BA authority to commit

  • Responsible for agreed internal controls

  • Support the local management-team and central functions by delivering financial insight with regular reports and ad-hoc-analysis on request

  • Adjust the operating-system to current reporting-needs

  • Participate in local and global projects

  • Main internal and external stakeholders

  • Global Business Services (GBS) as well as Corporate Functions such as tax, treasury, legal

  • Local management team and all local functions

  • Corporate Functions such as tax, treasury, legal

  • Service Centre Controlling team

  • Internal and external auditors

  • Other external contacts as tax-office, statistical office, National Bank, Intrastat

Our requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance / Economics / Business administration or similar

  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience

  • Minimum 1-2 years of financial controlling experience

  • Fluent in Polish, English level B2-C1 or above

  • MSC-Office tools, in particular experience with Excel

  • Experience with SAP and HFM is a big plus

  • We expect that you are a self-motivated person able to perform the majority of tasks independently but also enjoy working in a team. You are structured and detail-oriented which allows you to be successful in your daily work where accuracy is the key. We also appreciate your ability to organize your work efficiently and on time.

Currently Outokumpu Distribution Polska Sp. z. o. o. located in Dąbrowa Górnicza is looking for its Financial Controller.
