Financial Controller

Responsibilities of the Financial Controller  

  • Acting as advising partner for the management board in the field of finance: helping to build the financial department, solving financial problems, providing substantive support in the area of finance
  • Building, developing and implementing innovative financial processes and analytical tools, initiating new solutions, including new reports and controlling panels, creating  financial control process
  • Independent controlling and supervision over different business areas
  • Close cooperation with external accounting department and control over received data
  • Conducting internal financial audits
  • Verification of completeness and correctness of cost records in the project analytics
  • Ensuring tax and legal compliance (in cooperation with industry experts)
  • Financial optimization of the company

Our requirements:

  • Graduate in accounting, business, economics or finance
  • Min 3-5 years of experience in finance environment (preferably in controlling or audit)
  • Broad knowledge and understanding of controlling methods and tools
  • Ability to use knowledge and experience to independently analyze and build financial  processes
  • Very high research and analytical skills
  • English at C1 level
  • Positive personality, friendly, curious and eager to learn

What you can expect in the recruitment process:

  • Step 1 Analysis of received applications (CVs) - at this stage we will select the CVs which will cover most of the features we indicated in the offer, and then contact selected candidates
  • Step 2 Logical test - until further notice in a remote form, testing competency of analytical thinking
  • Step 3 Recruitment interview with HR person (videocall)
  • Step 4 Meeting with CEO and Finance Manager
