    Currently we are looking for a suitable individual to join us on the position of Finished Goods Planner based in Piła, Poland. This role is part of MG Europe Supply Chain mgt function, responsible for a global team of 120. You are responsible for designing & implementing Finish Goods strategy towards optimizing finished goods inventory. You ensure slow moving and obsolete inventory reduction in markets. Your key interfaces will be: DP market, SP business, BPO S&O.

    • Manage inventory availability within DCs around Europe
    • Ensure availability and confirmation reliability service measurements
    • Assure minimum slow-moving and obsolete inventory in markets
    • Design/Redesign supply chain to drive optimization
    • Actively communicate up/down stream of the supply chain organizations
    • Drive resolution of structural service, capacity, quality etc. issue with BG, escalation
    • Understands the Customer Service Officer, how this relates to the inventory strategy, and manages stock and service levels to meet the CSO requirements
    • Sets up finished goods strategy for assigned portfolio, manages portfolio
    • Works cross functionally to ensure customer requirements are met
    • Reviews and drives continuous improvement in lead time in order to reduce inventory requirements
    • Signals deviations between real sales vs sales plans within month and defines corrective actions
    • Maintain parameters in SAP for Lead times, MOQ’s, Rounding values, etc. for commercial stock points
    • Manage phase in/phase out materials in systems for commercial stock points
    • Leads execution of repacking products
    • Applies lean and/or PDCA methodology as part of continuous improvement
    • Gives guidance for executive decision making on deviations from standard allocation principles (collect data, facts)
    • Fulfills ad hoc, non-forecasted sales opportunities, escalation if certain markets repetitively place non-forecasted large orders within lead-time
    • Diligently and urgently address short term availability or inventory issues, while addressing longer term supply-demand imbalances
    • Ensures balance between Demand & Supply and takes up prompt corrective actions where required
    • Manages / converts purchase requisitions (and other requirements) in SAP, Review and manage MRP signals
    • Drives Slow moving, obsolete reduction in the Markets
    • Maintains Purchase Orders on internal factories, external suppliers, Supply Planning (For multiple suppliers)
    • Manages Phase In / Phase Out materials in Systems for commercial Stock points

    You are…

    Open minded, curious and innovative and aligned with our company values and aims and you bring the following experiences and competencies:
    • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Supply Chain management will be an asset
    • Fluent Polish (both orally and in writing) is obligatory
    • Fluent English (both orally and in writing) is obligatory
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management/ Commercial/ or business operational roles
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively and influence in a matrix organization
    • LEAN or Six Sigma certification will be an asset
    • Statistical tools and techniques will be an asset
    • Influence skills
    • Decision making and problem solving
    • Flexible team player and self-motivated
    • Practical knowledge of SAP will be an asset
    • APICS training/certification in CPIM or CSCP will be an advantage
    • Target oriented, problem solving skills
    • Computer skills: MS Office advanced, especially MS Excel (data analysis, pivot tables)
