Firmware Development Test Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Development of World Class AC Motor Drive Designs for Factory Automation.

• Perform verification testing of motor drive functionality via automated tests.

• Contributes to the improvement of test processes including creation of new test procedures, enhancing existing test procedures, identification of opportunities to apply test automation and improvement of overall test processes.

• Investigates product test anomalies and provides feedback for issue resolution.

• Creation of test fixtures and test stands as aids in test automation.

• Contributes to the creation and review of test plans and associated schedules.

• Provides the required deliverables for compliance with Rockwell Automations Common Development Process.

• Collaboration with the Standard Drives global test team on associated projects.

• Stays abreast of new test technologies and methodologies that can be used in projects through participation in technology seminars, courses and independent study.
