  4. Your personal data is process to the extent specified as below:
    a. Your name, surname, contact details, education and previous employment record is processed on the basis of legal obligation (current recruitment processes) and consent (future recruitment processes)
    b. Any supplementary information you provide is processed on the basis of your consent.
    c. Some additional information may be processed on the basis of legitimate interest - if it is necessary for determination of claims, redress and defense of claims.
    d. Your personal data is processed for the period no longer than necessary to meet the purpose for which the data is processed.

    b. Right to rectification of your data, if it is incorrect or incomplete,

Fixed Asset Specialist

Location – Krakow

You will become a member of a dynamic and multi-cultural team specialized in particular in the field of Fixed Assets. You will also be exposed to cross-departmental collaboration in a quickly evolving environment and have an opportunity to embrace a wide area of business operations, expand practical financial knowledge and strengthen analytical skills.

 

The role gives a great opportunity to develop knowledge and practical skills on a career path to more senior positions in finance. Being a part of an insourcing center, you will be able to have an impact on how things are done.

 

You will

  • Participate in various financial projects and provide ad hoc analysis
  • Execute the month-end, quarter-end and the year-end close activities related to Fixed Assets
  • Do the calculations, preparation and posting of journal entries
  • Do the reconciliation of balance sheets accounts including follow-ups with local finance teams and business partners
  • Be a part of a local finance team and maintain regular communication with key stakeholders
  • Support Finance Controllers and Project Managers from different locations on daily basis in identifying, defining and implementing process improvements and processes standardization
  • Support audit in relation to Fixed Asset area and ensure appropriate controls are in place
  • Develop and implement standard accounting solutions according to Six Sigma and Lean methodology
  • Play an active role in implementing new financial solutions and tools
  • Act as a cross-departmental point of contact for management, business analyst, local finance teams and business partners
  • Participate in new US GAAP standards implementation
  • Participate in implementation of Fixed Assets Module in new locations

You have

  • University degree in Accounting or Finance, with an ambition to develop a career in Accounting and Finance area
  • More than 3 years of professional experience in the area of accounting – especially Fixed Assets
  • Good understanding of finance and accounting principles
  • US GAAP and IFRS experience
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel, and other MS Office applications.
  • SAP FI/CO experience
  • Fluency in English
  • Knowledge of other languages (would be an asset)
  • Drive for results
  • Great team spirit
