Your responsibilities

  • Ensure timely, effective and compliant implementation of medium to large projects and initiatives in areas like, but not limited to Digital web portals for B2B customers, data migration projects, coordination of activities with Customer operations team, Regional marketing teams, globally

  • Establish and manage appropriate implementation plans, identifying and ensuring appropriate resourcing and meeting of pre-defined milestones / Project assurance checks

  • Ensure projects are delivered according to waterfall or Agile methodologies ; ensures projects have the necessary structure and governance in place: Roles and responsibilities of each defined, governance in place, reporting and stakeholder map defined, etc

  • Ensure projects have quality assurance and stage gates control points

  • Ensure target countries, regions or users have the toolkits they require to successfully turn new functionalities into customer offers and are able to monetize the new products

  • Close cooperation with stakeholders to minimize the overall impact on customers and users and whilst continuing to support the business for growth ; works in close collaboration with retail IT Project managers and all supporting functions

  • Ensure effective change and engage leading to proper communications to all stakeholders

  • Lead where appropriate steering call and provide regular updates to stakeholders and line manager

  • Provide the leadership required to build ownership and commitment for leading the assigned projects and initiatives

  • Work with Strategic Solutions and technical partners to resolve of any implementation issue or clarification of requirements

  • Perform final go-live checks and ensure parameterization checks are complete making sure sign off from support functions are obtained During implementation of new product, continuous focus on operational excellence and process improvement

  • Support post-investment reviews of projects

Our requirements

  • Passion for innovations and new technology : as digital technology is one of the key enablers, the candidate needs to have the ability to articulate and manage the functional requirements with digital stakeholders

  • Skilled communicator, able to work with a wide range of suppliers, third parties and stakeholders

  • Project management certification is required unless the candidate has a successful track record of delivering projects or in planning

  • Skilled at implementing structure and processes into unstructured areas

  • Organized, an effective planner and self starter

  • Proven experience in working with external parties and delivery in complex ecosystems and in various countries in Europe

  • Passion for delivery on time and on budget is key ; “can do” attitude

  • The candidate will be working in a dynamic, focused and diverse environment; with a strong sense of team spirit and fun. Quick decision making, calculated risk taking and commercial acumen will be the norm

  • Some travel may be required (less than 20%)

  • Card Systems and mobility service experience is an advantage

Purpose and Accountability of the Role:

The Solutions Deploy Coordinator is responsible for the delivery and deployment of projects, included in the Fleet Solutions development programme, as endorsed each year. The role includes supporting the implementation of new B2B CVPs as well as managing all necessary changes to existing CVPs in the area of fuel cards and mobility services.

He/she is the key contact point for a number of external and internal stake-holders - Shell Third Party Partners, Product Managers, Customer Experience Coordinators, Focal Points in Customer Ops, and Card Accounting Teams.

The role is key to ensuring operational excellence at the interface of the business and IT, as well as for the quality delivery of a wide range of non-fuel and mobility services in Europe.
