Currently we are looking for candidates for the position of:
Forecast Analyst

Role Summary:

Forecast analyst responsibility is to perform forecasting tasks, system based forecasting generation, loading of demand schedules and performance monitoring.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Generating system or customer-based forecast and safety stock in line with the monthly business planning cycle.
  • Supporting the Forecasting and Demand Planning function through the provision of forecast analysis, preparation, loading and review to ensure the departmental objectives are achieved.
  • Preparing relevant reports, monitoring exception message, identifying recurrence and making recommendations for improvements to ensure ordering recommendations are reviewed and acted upon.
  • Participating as required in the management of parts scope to ensure live part list is current and maintained.
  • Participating in improvements activities at department/company level to enhance business performance.

Requirements:

  • Degree in related field (Econometry is considered advantage)
  • Some experience of forecasting or demand planning, using planning systems
  • Experience working in customer facing environments
  • Very good proficiency in Excel (Especially Pivot Tables, Vlookup’s, Sum/If formulas etc.)
  • Understanding of demand planning theory, MRP
  • Numerical, analytical and precise mindset and attention to detail
