Your responsibilities

  • Manage a role of FP&A Analyst responsible for Distribution Revenue stream for EMEA sub-regions

  • Provide financial Support for commercial business analysis, including variance analysis and performance management

  • Manage annual budget and monthly reforecast process: build, advise, challenge, present

  • Support accounting month end process with journal preparation, commercial commentary sense checks and sign off

  • Analysis and tracking of sales contracts execution, performance vs targets, pricing development and margin

  • Simplify existing modeling and maintenance processes for contractual data managed in EPM and Anaplan revenue systems

  • Advise and drive developments in revenue systems (eg. billing systems) and process improvements within other finance functions (billing, collections) to provide more accurate and timely reporting

  • Work with the Accounting team to improve business and accounting controls

  • Partner with commercial teams to provide financials and KPIs required for analysis and renegotiations

  • Responsible for opex related to distribution revenue streams e.g. contractual marketing commitments, bad debt, sales commissions etc.

  • Given the role oversees the most crucial P&L line (distribution revenue including Linear Pay TV and Direct-to-Consumer streams) it also acts as a single point of contact in case of cross-functional requests (covering full P&L) coming from Regional CFO & local Finance Leads. The key responsibilities are: coordination of work between multiple teams, data gathering, reporting improvements. The role reports on consolidated P&L to Regional CFO for the month-end cycles, budgeting as well as other ad hoc requests

Our requirements

  • BS/BA in related discipline from an accredited institution

  • Minimum 6 years of professional experience with the majority gained in International companies/environment

  • Strong understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), IFRS, and SOX requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory/leadership role

  • Big 4 company experience is a plus

  • Experience in financial reporting and/or technical accounting of an SEC registrant

  • Experience working directly with external auditors to resolve complex accounting and reporting issues

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Fluent English is a must

  • Attention to detail, accuracy and strong organizational skills

  • Capacity to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure

  • Must be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional team members at all levels

  • Experience implementing best practices that require significant innovation for improving processes by applying advanced understanding of complex functional/technical and business issues and challenges

  • Ability to anticipate resource requirements and to make adjustments based on emerging issues and priorities

  • Hands-on approach to work as a plus

  • Experience with financial systems like Hyperion, EPM (BPC), Anaplan, SAP is a plus
