About the project
A Software Engineer is responsible for solving complex issues and developing unique solutions to make our customers successful. Our customers depend on our highly skilled technical engineers in our Research & Development group to help drive their success. Strong problem-solving skills, communication, and the ability to develop creative solutions are a must.
Your responsibilities
Develop web application and services using Syncsort’s software development process and tools.
Participate in design and code reviews in a team environment to eliminate errors early in the development process.
Participate in problem determination and debugging of software product issues by using technical skills and tools to isolate the cause of the problem in an efficient and timely manner.
Provide documentation needed to thoroughly communicate software functionality.
Deliver high performing quality solutions to customer requirements and issues.
Present technical features of products to customers and stakeholders as required.
Write, document and unit test JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, CSS and SASS(LESS), REST API and Services.
Ensure that timelines and deliverables are met.
Participate in the Agile development process.
Utilize and contribute to Precisely’s Design System.
Other duties may be assigned.
Our requirements
2 to 8 years of relevant experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
Demonstrable, commercial experience of the following technologies: Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Jasmine, XML, JSON, and SASS.
Demonstrable, commercial experience with development tools, including Jira, GIT, and GITLAB.
Worked in an agile software development team, ideally following SCRUM guidelines.
Focused with good time management and personal management skills.
Ability to be flexible and handle multiple priorities or focus and provide in-depth solutions.
Optional
Experience of Bootstrap, jQuery, PrimeNG, Npm, and WebPack would be beneficial.
Knowledge of functional and object-oriented software development concepts is desired.
