Your responsibilities
Working as a part of the AudioVisual Tribe development team in Warsaw, the Frontend Developer will be responsible for implementing front-end applications with the team members in other locations. The AV dev-team in Warsaw supports the business needs of the AV vertical for content and client management, live operations, and post-match reporting. Most of the team daily tasks involve working with Git, Golang, PHP, developing user interfaces in JavaScript (React, TypeScript, GraphQL) and migrating the applications to run cloud-native (AWS). Our projects have extensive documentation on Confluence. We organize our work with Jira.
Do you have a passion for developing and creating state of the art solutions, has a sound working knowledge of JavaScript as well as React and CSS, and likes to keep up-to-date with new and current technological trends, designs and development processes? if you answer yes, then this role is for you.
Our requirements
At least 3 years of experience in frontend technologies (React, ES6, JavaScript) HTML5/ CSS 3
A problem-solving attitude, i.e. not just focused on writing code, but on tackling complex problems and determining how best to solve them
Understanding of software architecture principles
Communication in English is a must
Willingness to learn new technologies
Positive, team player with a can-do attitude
See any problem as a challenge and search for solutions together with a team
Dedication to create innovative and maintainable products
Optional
At least one year of experience in backend technologies and willingness to work with Go / PHP
Knowledge of TypeScript, GraphQL, Webpack
Experience with JavaScript Testing Frameworks: Jest, React Testing Library
Experience with Semantic UI or similar framework: Bootstrap, Material UI
Experience with CSS Preprocessors: Sass / Less
Familiarity with SQL databases (MySQL)
Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline (GitLab), Docker / AWS / Kubernetes and container hosting infrastructure.
Knowledge of (or interest in learning) modern software system observability stack e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, New Relic
Willingness to practice TDD and pair programming
