About the project
Opal Transfer started developing own bespoke software in 2013. Started with a British company who assisted with prototyping, followed by an IT development company and their own small team in Latvia and current outsourced IT team in Azerbaijan. The software is written with .NET architecture on C# using MS SQL database in the backend. This product is money transfers abroad and is similar to Wise, Revolut, Monzo.
We are searching for an experienced Lead full stack .NET developer, who would Lead the development of our own software.
It is a remote role with occasional visits to London.
Your responsibilities
Leading the development of our own software
Our requirements
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a C# programmer or developer
Developing C# .NET solutions for the organization
Creating in-house applications using the .NET framework
Debugging and maintaining written code
Strong in Object Oriented Programming, MVC and design patterns
Experience with ORM – Entity Framework, nHibernate or similar
Knowledge of HTTP, API, SOAP, RESTful
Knowledge of GIT version control system, including CI/CD
At least B2 English level. Main communication language is English
Optional
Knowledge of TypeScript, Java Script ES6+ and Vue.js
Knowledge of HTML5 / CSS3 (SCSS)
Experience in writing unit tests
Experience in software development in project teams
Strong analytical and communication skills
