Your responsibilities

  • Contributing to the implementation of the GBS HR strategy

  • Managing overall business operations across all supported locations / clients and delivering services according to signed-off Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), agreed KPIs and quality targets

  • Ensuring a high degree of client orientation

  • Planning, developing and implementing a strategic roadmap in line with GBS HR business strategy (e.g. plan the development of the operations and further refine the operating model, organizational structure and governance model, seek opportunities to expand the offering in line with the business strategy)

  • Ensuring all GBS HR processes incorporate appropriate control mechanism, including 4-eye-check / SOX checks, data protection and compliance tasks. Ensuring a robust framework to enable compliance with all country legal and regulatory requirements

  • Driving financial management including budgeting and forecasting and cost management

  • Defining and driving people management strategy of the GBS HR Krakow (e.g. workforce planning, training, engagement, mentoring, succession planning, incentives and retention) and leading with the example

  • Managing GBS HR Krakow employees with the required cultural sensitivity; Ensuring all administrative tasks are accomplished according to internal policies and legal requirements

  • Constantly evaluating the HR proposition and the service to clients with a view to improving delivery through innovation and the implementation of industry best practice

  • Continuously analysing operational performance, addressing issues across the teams and implementing a culture of continuous improvements; Implementing Lean approaches to deliver efficiencies through standard processes and synergies

  • Building sustainable relationships with key stakeholders like GBS Front office, Country HR Managers, GBS representatives, CoEs (Centers of Expertise), HR Business Partners and other stakeholders

Our requirements

  • Experience in a leadership role managing teams of 25-50 employees

  • Experience in HR or Shared Services Operations (insourced or outsourced) with sound Operations management experience

  • Project Management experience and Lean Sigma / Six Sigma qualiy and process improvement experiences

  • Strong analystical approach to problem solving, high degree of proactive behavior and result orientation

  • High degree of structure and self-organization, deadline focused

  • Excellent Powerpoint and Excel skills

  • High degree of passion and commitment and effective management of different cultures

  • Ability to build relations across various teams / countries / cultures and excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentation skills)

  • Fluent in English (oral and written), German would be a plus

The GBS (Global Business Services) HR Krakow Delivery Manager is fully accountable for managing the Employment Life Cycle (ELC) operations of the GBS HR in Krakow and takes responsibility for the delivery of high-quality services, to supported business locations and clients and against agreed performance targets. Furthermore, the GBS HR ELC Krakow Delivery Manager will drive further optimization of HR processes in close collaboration with the Global Service Line.
