Your responsibilities
Contribute to the implementation of the GBS HR Operations strategy and manage overall business operations across all supported locations / clients and deliver services according to signed-off Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), agreed KPIs and quality targets
Ensure a high degree of client orientation & experience; Plan, develop and implement a strategic roadmap in line with GBS HR Operations business strategy (e.g. plan the development of the operations and further refine the operating model, organizational structure and governance model, seek opportunities to expand the offering in line with the business strategy)
Ensure all GBS HR processes incorporate appropriate control mechanism, including 4-eye-check / SOX checks, data protection and compliance tasks. Ensure a robust framework to enable compliance with all country legal and regulatory requirements
Drive financial management including budgeting and forecasting and cost management
Define and drive people management strategy of the GBS HR Operations Krakow (e.g. workforce planning, training, engagement, mentoring, succession planning, incentives and retention) and lead with the example; Manage GBS HR Operations Krakow employees with the required cultural sensitivity
Lead the Delivery Manager located in GBS HR Operations Tallinn
Ensure all administrative tasks are accomplished according to internal policies and legal requirements
Constantly evaluate the HR proposition and the service to clients with a view to improving delivery through innovation and the implementation of industry best practice
Continuously analyse operational performance, address issues across the teams and implement a culture of continuous improvements ; Implement Lean approaches to deliver efficiencies through standard processes and synergies
Collaborate with other Delivery Leads to build / strengthen ABB brand recognition on the market, represent GBS in internal / external meetings and drive set-up of required policies / processes / practices to establish a successful center
Collaborate with other GBS HR Operations Delivery Leads (Bangalore, SLP) to develop further efficiencies and to ensure consistency of management approaches. Build sustainable relationships with key stakeholders like GBS HR Operations Front office, Country HR Managers, GBS representatives, CoEs, HR Business Partners and other stakeholders
Our requirements
Leadership / Senior Management role managing large scale operation (50 employees in GBS HR Tallinn, 150 employees in GBS HR Krakow) in captive, shared service or outsourced service center
Experience in HR or Shared Services Operations (insourced or outsourced)
Sound Operations management experience
Project Management experience
Lean Sigma / Six Sigma qualiy and process improvement experiences
High degree of client orientation and service mind-set
Strong analystical approach to problem solving, high degree of proactive behavior and result orientation
High degree of structure and self-organization, deadline focused
Excellent Powerpoint and Excel skills
Strong interpersonal skills; High degree of passion and commitment
Effective management of different cultures ana ability to build relations across various countries / cultures; Excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentation skills)
Fluent in English (oral and written), Polish nice to have

The GBS HR Operations Europe Hubs Delivery Lead is fully accountable for managing the operation of the GBS HR Operations in Krakow and Tallinn and takes responsibility for the delivery of high-quality services, to supported business locations and clients and against agreed performance targets. As the ABB HR Transformation is ongoing, the GBS HR Operations Krakow / Tallinn Delivery Lead plays a key role to ensure successful execution of the transitions according to the migration plans. Furthermore, the GBS HR Operations Krakow / Tallinn Delivery Lead will drive further optimization of HR processes in close collaboration with the Global Service Lines.
