About the project
As a technical leader in RBWM domain focusing on project delivery service in application fraud detection area, provide devops engineering service for fraud detection application, understand the latest HSBC group strategy and work closely with the business.
As the tech leader of a devops team and the cloud project, be responsible for project delivery activity, embed with risk-based mindset and is keen to identify issues as important to remediate, and shape technology strategy going forward.
Work as engineering lead in Poland and leads the Poland teams for technical development and delivery, uplift the GCP skillset of Poland team, Promote a DevOps culture to the Poland team.
Collaborate with Enterprise/Solution Architect to deliver high quality solution rollout. Participate into analysis of the platform requirement.
Work closely with HK and China DevOps teams to be responsible for the delivery, on-going success & continuous improvement of application fraud service.
Provide support in identification and resolution of all incidents associated with the IT service, as directed by leadership of the DevOps team.
Well understanding of Fraud domain/system, ensure that product/project requirements are understood, technology product roadmap is well balanced to deliver good service without technical debt.
Able to initiate the project/platform foundation and deliver the solution rollout. understanding existing environment team / GCP core team work flow and work close with GCS/ IAM / ITID etc.
Responsible for automating the continuous integration / continuous delivery pipeline within a DevOps Product/Service team driving a culture of continuous improvement.
Ensure service resilience, service sustainability and recovery time objectives are met for all the software solutions delivered.
Maintain and improve the stability and reliability of the FeatureSpace ARIC development / production environments.
Ensure a high quality standard of deliverables according to HSBC standards and best practices.
Work effectively with technology and business teams located in multiple locations / time zones.
Provide weekend release / support per job needs.
Prepare project-related documentation and provide support on compliance and audit checking.
Adherence to SLAs & service delivery procedures defined by Agile framework.
Accountable for ensuring that all activities performed by teams adhere to the relevant prevailing HSBC standards and controls.
University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
Minimum 5+ years of Cloud DevOps experience is preferred.
Proactive and attention to detail. Sense of urgency to solve problems and propose solutions.
Familiar with cloud environment deployment and management. Strong analytical, trouble shooting and problem solving skills.
Expert knowledge of Linux and well master the frequent used commands for daily work.
Expert Knowledge of DevOps tooling such as Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Jira/Confluence,
Expert Knowledge of cloud automation toolset like Terraform, Ansible.
Expertise in Cloud Monitoring tools like GCP stackdriver / Splunk.
Expertise in cloud and DevOps, familiar to network (VPC) and firewall on cloud, iAM, cloud costing.
Nice to have knowledge on Containers/Docker/Kubernetes, Network configuration on VPC, VPN; SSL certificate.
Cloud architectural experience is preferred.
Understanding of Agile and scrum methodologies. Continuously upgrading and learning various technologies required for successful project delivery through continuous learning and training.
Able to work at flexible hour with colleagues in various regions for issue investigation, deployment & production support etc.
Strong communication, presentation & influencing skills, able to operate well across cultures and in multi-cultural, diverse work environments.
Experience of collaboration on a global scale (i.e. across time zones & geography and with remote teams).
GCP / AWS cloud certificate is a plus.
SAFe Agilist certificate is a plus.
