EDC Aviation – GE design office – concentrates its efforts on delivering reliable and competitive product such as jet engines, helicopter engines, marine engines, as well as stationary engines.
EDC is a design center – we work on new ideas which are later on implemented into engine. When the design has been approved we overview introduction to manufacturing and take responsibility for the quality of the parts made by different vendors all over the world. Moreover, we take care of test planning and oversee when the engine is already running during the test. Our final responsibilities include monitoring the engine fleet behavior to deliver a reliable product for the global economy.
For nearly 20 years, our engineers dedicated their time and skills to develop family of world class jet engines.

Catalyst PT Structures Owner position is related with responsibility for leading, supervising and executing all activities associated with technical tasks. It gives great opportunity to grow and increase expertise in top notch technology, execute tasks related to multiple hardware commodities and look for cost and weight reduction opportunities. It also allows to build a wider perspective and increase Systems thinking.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Execute under guidance the evaluation of assigned projects that meet business standards, practices and procedures and the product / program requirements
  • Recommend approach to meet the technical and program requirements
  • Support formulation and implementation of plans to achieve technical requirements, schedules and contract commitments
  • Develop action plans to anticipate and respond to problems
  • Support other personnel and assigned teams
  • Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures
  • Monitor and communicate project status, business issues and significant developments
  • Lead or participate in organizational efforts in assigned projects and tasks
  • Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews
Required Qualifications
  • Knowledge of aircraft engine architecture.
  • Willingness to continuous learning and sharing best practices within the organization.
  • Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong technical attitude and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize the working tasks.
  • Experience with structural components design.
