Your responsibilities
The general task of GL Accountant is to perform GL daily tasks and tasks related to month and year closing and maintaining good relations with business partners.
In addition, you will:
• migrate GL processes to Poland and prepare necessary documentation
• take process ownership of certain task groups
• work on continuous process improvements
•provide support to colleagues in other units and secure knowledge transfer on an appropriate level
• closely cooperate with other global John Deere GL teams
• prepare reports
Our requirements
We need an excellent communicator in English, written and verbal, who thrives on solving problems and working in a global, interdisciplinary team environment. Ideally, you will have the long-term experience in Finance & Accountancy field, especially in GL related tasks.
We also require:
• University degree in Finance/Accounting
• Ability to plan and execute tasks independently
• Proficiency in English
• Accounting knowledge
• SAP skills
• Experience in business use of MS Excel
• Solution-oriented way of working
• Analytical skills and affinity to numbers
• Experience in some of the aeras like Fixed Assets, Intercompany Reconciliation, Cash and Reporting, Payroll activities
