General Ledger Accountant - Regular or Senior SpecialistNumer ref.: 1-7-60535

We are looking for General Ledger Accountants to join a growing team in our client's office in the centre of Warsaw (currently remote work is obligatory)
Main duties will include:

• Ensure that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time in compliance with the US GAAP and local statutory accounting standards
• Perform account reconciliation (Accruals, Interco, Prepayments) as well as subledger reconciliations (Bank, Receivables, Fixed Assets, Payroll etc)
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of all G/L transactions; sample checks of postings and grant compliance to all MSA Policy and US GAAP financial standards
• Co-ordination and processing of month end closings and financial reporting; provide variance analysis;
• Maintain Chart of Accounts
• Identify and implement process improvement initiatives and track service level achievements
• Liaise with USGAAP and local external auditors ensuring effective communication, data provision and issue resolution
