In our Warsaw Shared Service Center we are currently looking for General Ledger Accountant / Accounting Analyst for a full-time 2 years contract.
 
This is an office-based opportunity in Solenis SSC in Warsaw, and our new employee will begin their work in our brand new office near Rondo Daszynskiego M2 station.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Performing GL operational activities such as posting accruals, prepayments, etc.
  • Making sure all month end closing activities are performed accurately and timely.
  • Effective cooperation with other teams, such as Payroll, AP, Cash Application, VAT, Credit Control.
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ownership of all GL accounts, follow-up of outstanding items with other teams.
  • Analysis of variances and fluctuations in P&L and BS.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of practical business experience in accounting
  • Fluency in English both written and spoken.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Degree in Finances, Accounting, or similar area.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Good knowledge of modern accounting practices.
  • Good Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Very good communication skills.
  • Multi-tasking, ability to work with deadlines.
  • Self-reliant, proactive and highly motivated.
