Your responsibilities
- In our Warsaw Shared Service Center we are currently looking for General Ledger Accountants for a full-time, permanent employment contract, for our EMEA and NA teams.
- This is an office-based opportunity in Solenis SSC in Warsaw, and our new employee will begin their work in our brand new office near Rondo Daszynskiego M2 station.
- At least 2 years experience in General Ledger Accountants.
- Performing GL operational activities such as posting accruals, prepayments, etc.
- Making sure all month end closing activities are performed accurately and timely.
- Effective cooperation with other teams, such as Payroll, AP, Cash Application, VAT, Credit Control.
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ownership of all GL accounts, follow-up of outstanding items with other teams.
- Analysis of variances and fluctuations in P&L and BS.
Our requirements
- 2+ years of practical business experience in accounting
- Fluency in English both written and spoken.
- Bachelor’s degree in Degree in Finances, Accounting, or similar area.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Good knowledge of modern accounting practices.
- Good Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Very good communication skills.
- Multi-tasking, ability to work with deadlines.
- Self-reliant, proactive and highly motivated.
