    General Ledger Senior Accountant
    Location: Poznań

    Responsibilities:

    • Performing month-end closing activities incl.: reconciliation of operations and balances between business units, accounts reconciliation, analysis of the data and explanations of the movements, preparation of the monthly reporting, invoices and payments processing, resolving issues on a current basis and other related to transactions between related parties
    • Supporting team members in daily tasks; cooperating with the team members and other departments as well as internal and external auditors
    • Supporting Team Leader in managing the team and processes with seniority in knowledge and attitude
    • Maintaining high quality of relevant process documentation (process maps, procedures)

    Requirements:

    • At least 3 years of finance & accounting experience
    • Readiness to support development of end-to-end processes related to transactions between related parties within DFDS Group incl. PtP, OtC and RtR processes
    • Fluency in English language (at least C1 level)
    • Very good understanding of RtR, OtC and PtP processes related to operations between related parties
    • Precision and attention to details; you are inquisitive, diligent and well-organized
    • Bachelor/Master’s degree preferably in finance & accounting field
    • Proven finance/accounting studies/courses
    • Driven towards globally harmonized processes and best practices
