GL Accountant

Your responsibilities

• Perform journal entry processing,

• Prepare accruals, prepayment releases,

• Ensure month-end processes are completed accurately and according to month and year end closing schedule,

• Ensure that queries related to AP, AR, T&E, etc. are resolved in a timely manner,

• Initiate corrective action on items not correctly posted/coded,

• Prepare regular and ad hoc reports,

• Reconcile dedicated GL accounts, resolving any unreconciled items,

• Monitor dedicated GL accounts to ensure accurate and timely transaction posting, correcting where required,

• Support transition of GL processes if needed,

• Build and maintain good working relationships with relevant teams across a wide range of areas throughout the organization,

• Acts as a resource in training of other team members,

• Provide feedback / suggestions to improve existing processes and update procedures accordingly,

• Ensure proper company policies and documented SOX procedures are being followed,

• Support audit as required.
