Our Poznan office now employs approx. 250 staff and covers Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and General Ledger functions in 20 European countries as well as specialist areas in Indirect Taxation, Cash Management, Master Data, Business Intelligence & Analytics, Continuous Improvement and Customs & Compliance.

Currently we are looking for:
GL Accountant
Location: Poznań

Your daily tasks:

  • Perform and support other team members in day-to-day operations according to the assigned tasks
  • Resolve standard and non-standard queries and issues related to relevant processes
  • Ensure daily operations are carried out according to targets and deadlines, corporate policies and statutory regulations and work instructions
  • Month-end closing activities including reconciliation of intercompany balances between business units, accounts reconciliation, analysis of the data and explanations of the movements, preparation of the monthly reporting
  • Support other team members in daily tasks; communicate and cooperate with the team members and other departments as well as internal and external auditors
  • Maintain a good working relationship with Local Business Units
  • Design, communicate and implement accounting activity processes optimization and standardization projects
  • Maintain high quality of relevant process documentation (process maps, procedures)

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor / Master degree
  • Proven finance/accounting studies/courses
  • At least 2 years of experience in accounting/finance
  • Good command of English
  • Good understanding of General Ledger processes
  • Precision and attention to detail, being inquisitive, diligent, and well-organized
  • Experience in building long-term relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Ability to act independently and confidently as a business partner to LBUs
  • Very good working knowledge of MS Office and other common software
  • Very good communication skills and customer service skills
  • Open mindset towards change and engagement for continuous improvement
