    GL Assistant Manager
    Miejsce pracy: Kraków

    Main responsibilities:

    • Coach and provide feedback to team members
    • Develop strong second lines in the team
    • Able to challenge the status quo and ensure knowledge retention
    • Back up planning, ensuring seamless operations
    • Delivers ad hoc analysis as required
    • Works across the SSC teams, understands the end to end life cycle for all processes and act as a first point contact for contract related questions
    • Acts as the gatekeeper for the General accounting ensuring compliance with standard processes & controls
    • Updating and maintaining best in class Knowledge Transfer documents, alongside the business finance teams
    • Responsible for all customer standard reporting and validation where contractual obligations allow
    • Responsible for the model, baseline data and collection, trend graphs and comparatives
    • Engagement with various business to get sign off on Physical verification of Fixed Assets
    • Perform AP / AR activities including invoice processing, collections etc.
    • Preparation and full understanding of the balance sheet reconciliations, including what makes up the balances, supporting documentation and analytical review from prior months
    • Preparation of monthly / quarterly schedules, trend and variance analysis including narratives and impact understanding
    • Responsible for the maintenance of a complete and accurate Fixed Assets register and report preparation including review and understanding of variances month on month basis
    • Controller role for month and year end, ensuring all activities, up to and including the first narratives are completed which includes understanding and articulating the impact of the results
    • Manage day to day operations
    • Close tracking of allocations & issue management
    • Driving efficiency and accuracy
    • Review & improving processes
    • Participate in daily/weekly/monthly review with Operations / customers
    • SLA Management
    • Operational Excellence
    • Manage client expectations & relationship

    • Identify & drive continuous improvements
    • Daily interaction with client for volumes and delivery
    • Reduce the Turn Around Time (TAT) towards the client


    Occassional responsibilities:

    • Prepare reports, incentive sheet, etc.
    • Provide inputs through forums to improve work procedures that can enhance overall team performance
    • Adherence to norms specified by customer / organization audit or security requirements


    • CA / ICWA / MBA (Finance)
    • 6 to 9 years performing F&A work for the third party or internal customer. Candidates with understanding of multiple geography EU finance deliverables would be an added advantage
    • Desired language skills: English B2 Verbal & Written, German C2
    • Knowledge of MS Excel
