Your responsibilities
To supervise, train and coach the team
Oversee month end close processes ensuring accuracy of financial statements and deadlines
Manage departmental performance in line with Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and Service Level Agreements (SLA’s)
To lead functional service delivery for end to end GL processes (GL, Intercompany, Reporting) and taking full accountability,
Lead, motivate and organise personnel to adhere to Ammega’s values and deliver a high level of staff engagement.
Work with other entities to ensure alignment of structure, process and procedure and driving continuous improvement.
Manage internal and customer queries.
Ad hoc reporting and supporting of other departmental duties during peak periods
Monthly statistical reporting and submission
To be responsible for ensuring adequate financial controls are in place including compliance with IFRS and ensuring that internal and external audit requirements are met.
Our requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant field (Finance & Accounting)
Minimum 2 years experiences in efficient and effective supervision
Fluent in English
Other foreign language would be an asset
Very good knowledge and understanding of GL processes
Must be able to manage people performance in a positive direction
An excellent track record of successful financial management in large and dynamic businesses
Must have a strong customer focus (for internal stakeholders and external customers)
Excellent computer skills incl. MS Office
Must be able to work overtime and on Public Holidays as required.
Navision or D365 knowledge is a plus
