At Wella, digital transformation is one of the key company priorities. By being part of the global eCommerce team, you will be a key contributor in driving the commercialization and growth of the direct eCommerce business, reporting directly into the Global B2B eCommerce Director. The role of B2B eCommerce Content & eMerchandising Manager will be responsible for enabling the platform flagship experience across all Wella markets in the world. The successful candidate will support local teams to enable excellence in the execution and share and reapply of best practices, driving a better platform experience.


  • Define the plan and recommendations to optimize the online shopping experience on the Wella B2B eCommerce platform across all Wella markets, as a result drive profitable sales conversion.
  • Develop shopper insights and learnings on content performance, by analyzing and monitoring KPIs for shopping experience & sales and by partnering with sales and other functions.
  • Support the development of the global marketing plans and content for the Wella eCommerce B2B platform to increase frequency, penetration, and basket size, with focus on the platform experience.
  • Ensure that the overall shopper journey is integrated across all the other platforms part of the ecosystem.
  • Share and reapply best practices to define and enable a flagship experience on the ecommerce platform.
  • Enable local teams to execute with excellence the localization of global marketing plans and the platform merchandising activity according to best practices. Track local execution and define recommendations to improve the overall local platform experience.
  • Provide regular reports/updates on competitive intelligence on platform experience

  • Master’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Management, Business Studies/MBA, Engineering, Design or further relevant disciplines preferred.
  • Substantial experience in eCommerce, minimum 4 years professional experience in Digital Marketing, Product Marketing and eCommerce.
  • Comprehensive experience using CMS for eCommerce Platforms.
  • Solid grasp of eCommerce, CRM & Digital Marketing management and respective processes.
  • Experience in using analytics tools (i.e. GA, Adobe) and in mapping/optimizing web-user journeys.
  • Proven experience in working in an international environment and matrix organization.
  • Strong analytical skills and project management capabilities.
  • Financial acumen and business analytics skills.
  • Proven Influencing, Negotiation, Communication and Presentation skills.
  • Fluency in English required, further languages are beneficial.
  • Experience in the creation and maintenance of websites based on Content Management Systems.
  • Experience in global & local website management roles; Content, Assortment, Promotions, preferably in eCommerce.
  • Experience in project management for content translation, localization, and implementation across multiple websites.
  • Solid understanding of web technologies. Knowledge of HTML, HTML5, CSS, Javascript, PHP (i.e. WordPress, Drupal, etc.)  and editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premier.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities, at ease with rapidly changing environments.
  • Passion for digital innovation, digital media and beauty.
